Terms
Use the work with its context.
Effective date: August 9, 2026
1. Operator and acceptance
CountyCase is a brand of Eldhurst LLC ("CountyCase," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of countycase.com. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. General information
CountyCase publishes educational information compiled from public government sources. It is not legal, medical, insurance, engineering, traffic-safety, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for official records or qualified advice.
3. Licenses and source material
Unless identified otherwise, CountyCase original text and compilation are available under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). That license does not replace source-specific terms, attribution, suppression rules, or downstream obligations. Consult the source inventory on the methodology page.
4. Data limits
Government data may be delayed, revised, incomplete, suppressed, or based on definitions that differ across sources. CountyCase does not determine fault, legal responsibility, individual risk, or what may happen in a future crash.
5. Permitted use
You may use the site for lawful informational purposes. You may not impersonate CountyCase, remove notices, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls, or use automated means that materially burden the service.
6. Third-party services
Links to government sources and other websites are provided for context. CountyCase does not control or endorse third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
7. No warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." COUNTYCASE DISCLAIMS EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELDHURST LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM, LOSS, OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, ITS AVAILABILITY, OR RELIANCE ON IT. THIS EXCLUSION INCLUDES DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, AND LOST DATA.
If applicable law does not allow liability to be excluded, their aggregate liability for claims arising from the site will not exceed $100. These limitations do not restrict rights or remedies that applicable law makes nonwaivable.
9. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Eldhurst LLC for reasonable third-party claims, losses, and costs caused by your unlawful use of the site, malicious interference with it, or material violation of these Terms. This section does not require a consumer to indemnify Eldhurst LLC for its own conduct and does not waive nonwaivable consumer rights.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by Massachusetts law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
